I just purchased this preowned game table that folds out and swivels to 39" square. It's by Hooker and very sturdy. I would love any ideas to get rid of the "old world" look. Even thought about having checkerboard square painted in the middle when open. Could lacquer paint be an option??? Also what style chairs would you recommend?
